Capping machines

Secure cap pick-up and placement, container after container.

In short

BSC's automatic capping machine for jerrycans is an industrial capper that places and screws caps container after container, with capping torque adjustable up to 20 Nm per head. It handles threaded, press-on and valved caps, on bottles and jerrycans from 500 ml to 20 litres, with a pick-and-place system and capping control.

Frequently asked questions

What cap types does it apply?+

Threaded, press-on and valve caps, on bottles and jerrycans from 500 ml to 20 litres, with a pick-and-place system.

What capping torque does it handle?+

Adjustable torque of up to 20 Nm per head, with capping control to ensure a proper seal container after container.

What output can it reach?+

The Full Line (up to 6 screwing heads) reaches 3,300 bottles/hour in 1 litre and up to 1,200 containers/hour in 20 litres. The TAS 1+1 combines a threaded head and a press-on head in one machine.

How precise is cap placement?+

The pick-and-place system in the cappers allows the cap to be gripped securely and placed precisely, container after container, with a statistical error of 1 cap per 10,000 units and ± 0.5 mm repeatability. The cap feeder (2,000 to 3,000 caps) starts and stops automatically.

Can it be integrated with the filler?+

Yes: it is installed in line after the filler, or the whole process is solved in a single machine with the monoblock filler-capper.
